……through a curtain into a darkened chamber. The sounds from the crowd muffle behind me.
The darkness strangely heightens the smell of damp air. My eyes adjust slowly to the dark claustrophobic space.
A small panel hangs in front of me, on it, a spectral illumination shimmering like a flame. The image of two faint teardrops bracket a slowly expanding line.
Hovering, it flicks and waves. Then, within the image a moment of clarity, delicate hands stretching a chord of light.
Then darkness.............
